“Y” Transition to Job Market

"Y" stands for Generation Y. Generation Y makes up over 20% of today's population. They are the largest generation since the baby-boomers.

It has been reported that 60 percent of college graduates move home with their parents after graduation and the trend is on the rise.

This generation like no other has been coddled by their helicopter parents! The parents hover closely overhead, rarely out of reach whether their children need them or not.

Find out during the conversation how this impacts the "Gen Y" adult in his/her transition to the job market!
My two guests are: Arthur a recent college graduate and Dierra a junior in college.

Coping with Job Loss? - The Unspoken Topic

How are people really dealing with losing their jobs? Who is talking about this devastating event that has happened to millions of people? No one is really talking about this devastating event.

I believe there should be a "Job Loss Awareness Day". It would be a great opportunity to provide resources and services for those who have lost their jobs. Some ideal resources would be health care, counseling services and support groups for the unemployed.

Here is your opportunity to talk about this topic. So share how you are dealing with job loss or helping someone cope with job loss?
